About Amy

Amy Neal is a catalyst for innovation that seeks to connect people with their purpose. After serving for more than 20 years as an educator and instructional coach, Amy is expanding her impact and cultivating leadership across the region.

After nine years in the classroom, Amy began her professional coaching career in 2012. What began as a technology integration coaching role quickly expanded to include coaching teachers’ instructional practices in the K-12 classroom, facilitating continuous improvement initiatives across departments, and professional development for district level administrators. Her background as an educator positions her as an engaging presenter and experienced content curator. She has used those talents to present and facilitate across the region, state, and nation at various conferences and organizations.

After more than a decade in the K-12 environment, Amy broadened her scope and became a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach in the spring of 2015. In addition, she then became Dare to Lead™ trained in 2021 and found it to be the most transformative work she has done to impact her leadership skills both personally and professionally. As a participant in DeKalb LEADS cohort 2, Amy gained the confidence to take the next step in her coaching career. Her unique perspective as a former participant has allowed her to provide valuable feedback and improve the program from the inside out.

She is proud to be a life-long resident of Northeast Indiana. An avid reader and podcast listener, Amy is always learning about a diverse area of topics and finding unlikely connections across a broad spectrum of sectors. Strengths Development has been a catalyst in Amy’s career and life, and she is empowered to spark this progress in the life of others!
