Exciting Announcement: The next chapter for Fortify LEADS
We are writing to share some exciting news about the next chapter for Fortify LEADS. The Jason and Joann Sweitzer Family Foundation and Fortify LEADS are parting ways, supporting a more focused concentration of efforts for both entities. As of June 14th, 2024, Fortify LEADS will cease to operate under the Sweitzer Family Foundation. As such, we are excited to announce the launch of Aspen Root Collective, a partnership between Amy Neal and Sarah Payne, dedicated to growing leaders and cultivating strengths.
Aspen Root Collective will focus on a strengths-based approach to development and growth, maximizing our expertise as certified Gallup™ Global Strengths Coaches. We will continue to offer custom content, training and coaching to help leaders grow and organizations thrive. The name Aspen Root Collective reflects the unique interconnected root system of the Aspen tree; symbolizing community, resilience, collaboration and connectedness. We believe these are the fundamental foundations necessary for grounded leadership and steady growth.
The Sweitzer Family Foundation has been clear around its dedication to being a catalytic funder- investing in people and ideas that impact communities. Fortify LEADS has been a great example of this type of funding. Investment into the work of Fortify LEADS in the past has allowed us to support individuals to Lead, Engage, Activate, Develop, and Serve in DeKalb County and beyond. We are grateful for that support. What started as DeKalb LEADS in 2020 has grown to serve so many across our region with an immeasurable impact on the future. While the future of DeKalb LEADS is uncertain for now, dedicated individuals are exploring ways to continue to advance the development of leaders in DeKalb County. Just like our favorite television shows, DeKalb LEADS is taking a hiatus for the 2024-25 season, but we hope the break is only temporary.
We are still looking forward to hosting you for a lunch and learn on June 18th from 11am-1pm at the Fortify Center at Greenhurst with Northeast Indiana Works to share more information about their programming available to support employers across the region. Supporting individuals and teams grow and thrive is what we do!
We are excited about this next chapter and look forward to continuing to support your training and development needs through Aspen Root Collective.
New name, new look, same big vision! Join us for the next chapter!
